WELCOME
I’m Alani
Hi, I'm Alani Marlene — an artistic style wedding and lifestyle photographer currently based in Florida. I’m a vintage-loving 21-year-old with untameable curly hair and a pretty romantic view of the world.
I’m endlessly inspired by my family and friends, authenticity, and the quiet kind of magic most people rush past. I love soft and folky melodies, handwritten letters, and old family photos that feel like time capsules. I believe in love in its purest form — the kind found in deep conversations that stretch late into the night and in the way children see the world. I often admire dancing shadows and sunlight sparkling on water. I’m always pulled toward poetry, 2000s rom-coms, thrifted treasures, dried flowers, and beach sunsets that feel like home.
I’ve always known I would go into a creative field of some sort. I grew up illustrating and painting from age 5, and I drew or painted with anything and everything I could get my hands on. My work is shaped by a lifelong background in art and a deep love for visual storytelling. I draw inspiration from music, film, and the natural world. The way light moves, moments linger, and stories are told without words. But at the core of my creative process is a belief that creation itself is sacred and intentional, that every story has a purpose.
Music is a constant companion in my life and creative process; it sets the tone, slows me down, and reminds me that art is meant to be felt as much as it’s seen.
At the heart of my work is my faith. I love Jesus, and I believe creation itself is intentional, meaningful, and worthy of care. That belief shapes how I approach wedding days; with reverence, patience, and a deep respect for the stories I’m trusted to document. To me, photography is both an art form and a responsibility: an opportunity to preserve moments honestly, thoughtfully, and beautifully.
I approach weddings with a balance of documentary storytelling and an editorial eye, allowing moments to unfold naturally while paying close attention to composition, detail, and aesthetic. My goal is never to manufacture emotion, but to notice it — to create images that feel timeless, grounded, and true to the people in them.
More than anything, I value connection. I believe the best images come from trust, presence, and a shared understanding that your wedding day isn’t something to perform, but something to live. It’s an honor to witness these moments and transform them into lasting heirlooms — images that carry meaning and memory for generations to come.
I’m first and foremost a child of God. My faith and relationship with Jesus is THE most important thing to me. He is my savior and first love and I hope to reflect that in my photos and this business.
I’m not super fond of small talk; Let’s chat about the meaning of our lives, our biggest dreams, deepest regrets, and how we’re all the product of everyone we’ve ever met.
I’m a kid at heart - I love to explore, go on adventures, create art, be barefoot, make messes, embarrass myself, & admire beautiful things.
I love love love my family. They have stood by me through it all and supported me endlessly. I’m the oldest of 4 kids. My mom had me at 18, so we got to grow up together in a way which is pretty special if you ask me. We often get mistaken for sisters haha.
